Travis Family Optometry

I discovered this place three years ago, and our whole family has been happy with this practice ever since. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable so I left my previous providers and never looked back. The staff is friendly, always returns calls promptly, and does their best to expedite new orders and delivery. They also have a great selection of glasses and accept most major insurance plans. I drive about 50 minutes each way for my own appointments and for my daughter, and it’s absolutely worth it⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always seemed nice enough in the past, but kind of jerks lately. The optometrist knew when we were there that we couldn’t afford to order glasses directly from them and that we also lived too far away to make it reasonable to get glasses from them anyway. They apparently, as a matter of practice, don’t include the pupillary distance on their prescription form even though they have a clearly marked and titled section for it. We’ve been trying to order glasses online but need the pupillary distance. We contacted this optometrist as instructed via email but were just ignored (been over a week now). Just got a young man on the phone finally who says they didn’t take the measurement anytime recently because we didn’t order glasses from them, but we can go into a local office and have the measur

I've spent a nice bit of money with TFO over the years but when I went back to be serviced for eyewear and prescription, the prices had almost doubled. I can't say I'd recommend this store and that's unfortunate because customers tend to spend money where they're treated fairly and happy with the service. Go somewhere else and save your $$$

They charge you for double checking your eye prescription which was a new topic for me. At my previous location after having my glasses; I did not need to pay again.
