TPMG Independence Family Medicine

P.A. Katie Sexton has been a wonderful primary care doctor for me since her arrival at TPMG. She has helped me tremendously with my migraines and has always been patient while we worked together to find the best way to treat them. During the few times that I've needed to see a specialist, Katie not only referred me promptly, but helped me get to the specialist who could see me the soonest. I am grateful to have Katie as my primary care doctor. She is knowledgeable and very kind. The receptionists, nurses, and lab techs there are also always very friendly, professional, and considerate. Great family practice overall. Thank you TPMG!

TPMG is a medical facility needing attention. Their nursing staff, team of doctors and some office clientele don’t stay long enough to maintain or even build a good relationship. Pam, an office receptionist, has been there for a couple of years, she’s friendly, professional and always wears a smile. The patient rooms are dirty, old and without character. The waiting room chairs are worn, and the magazines are old, overall, the entire facility needs a complete facelift. It’s hard for me to leave a review as bad as this one, because normally my reviews are super great.

I was in for a simple annual exam. Dr. Sexton was "chatty and engaging", while also maintaining her professional powers of observation and analysis. This dual nature was most evident during a part of the exam where I discussed a scar on my arm that I had gotten concerned about. She got up to get a better look at my scar, while discussing my desire for a referral to a dermatologist. After examining my scar, she sat back down, thought for a few moments and asked me if I wanted the referred Dermatologist to also examine a similar small spot on the top of my head. Until Dr. Sexton mentioned it, I hadn't thought about the small spot, nor had I intended to. However, as soon as she did mention it, I realized it was foolish not to have the Dermatologist also examine the small spot during my refe

Good afternoon! Thank you for requesting a survey for my visit on 10/ 24/2023. TPMG IFM is the best. Everyone there is very professional. I called on 10/23/23 to seek help for what I was experiencing. I knew it was vertigo because I had experienced it several time. But! It felt must different than the last attack.
