I recently switched to Dr. Gaglione in the fall of 2025 and she has been nothing short of spectacular. I always feel heard and supported at every appointment, and leave feeling both positive and capable of managing my health concerns. The nurses have always been friendly and kind, and reception is helpful and efficient both during check in/check out and when I call with questions or to schedule. I have been searching for a great internal medicine doctor in the area for YEARS and I could not be happier that I've finally found someone who matches my needs and energy.
When I first began seeing Dr. Gaglione, I would have said she was the best doctor I had seen in decades. She listened carefully, was knowledgeable, took time to explain things, and initially appeared genuinely empathetic. At that point, she did not feel dismissive, and I appreciated her focus on understanding the “whole picture” rather than just treating symptoms. Early on, she was one of the few physicians I had encountered who did not exacerbate my PTSD, and that mattered to me. Over time, however, the dynamic shifted in ways that became increasingly concerning. As my care progressed—particularly around ongoing cardiac symptoms—the collaborative, validating approach I initially experienced gradually changed. The office staff is polite and professional, and the physicians overall appear knowledgeable. However, my experience with Dr. Gaglione raises concerns about how physical symptoms are handled when a patient has any mental health or neurodevelopmental history. I transferred to this practice specifically because a prior provider had attributed documented tachycardia, heart palpitations, and shortness of breath solely to anxiety without adequate medical evaluation. Despite being clear about this history, I eventually encountered the same pattern here. It took nearly two years, extensive review of approximately 14 years of medical records, and significant self-advocacy before tachycardia was formally diagnosed. Erin is phenomenal! This review is about the front desk/receptionist- they’re very disappointing to work with. They won’t answer messages, leave you on hold for 15+ mins, answer with an attitude (even my pharmacist has mentioned how rude they were). It’s disheartening because you’re calling for support and they act like you’re bothering them when you’re just trying to get information.
I want to say firstly I’ve been going here a little over 3yrs. My experience each time I can definitely say the nurse’s and Dr Miller are awesome ! The attitude for the nurses are bubbly and a positive attitude EVERY TIME. Dr Miller is a great listener , she empathizes, she ensures all needs are met and finds solutions, she truly is a great Doctor that shows care and compassion for what she does. Though , I’ve been putting off as today , the office staff - this office has is not approachable , they have a rude attitude, and aren’t welcoming at all. I come to check in and no one speaks , in addition to me having to announce myself , they aren’t friendly at all and I truly believe if they chose better office staff at the front I’d give it a five.
