Towsontown Dental Associates

Just had my second appointment here. Dentist was nice, however I had the same dental assistant for both appointments. (Sam or Samantha?) the first appt I thought her behavior was odd but couldn’t put my finger on it. Second appointment she was quite literally nodding out while taking my X-rays! Looked like she was having a good nap while I had that big plastic thing in my mouth!! It’s a shame because I did like the dentist but after that experience I won’t be going back. Hopefully Ms Samantha checks herself into a rehab facility immediately!!!

I would consider myself a longtime patient at Towsontown Dental I been going there since 2006, lived near the area at the time, my original dentist there has long since retired ,so there were changes in my dental care, eventually I stopped going to this facility in 2019 mostly do to the pandemic/ & distance I come from almost hr away now, but upon going back again earlier this year my experience has not been good at all, I feel I have been getting the run around about the work that needs to be done, dentist there tell me I need to have this done ASAP so I finally do all that was asked, (this includes leaving work early & taking a day off) to the best of my knowledge and ability to get them all the information/xrays sent to them and even a verbal plan on what I wanted to do. I chipped my front tooth and didn't have a regular dentist in place. I contacted Towsontown Dental and they were able to see me very quickly. Dr. Chapla was able to make my tooth look absolutely perfect again. I was shocked at how well it turned out. The staff were all super friendly and the office is clean. I have found my new regular dentist.

I was a patient here for about 2 years until my insurance changed and they were no longer in-network. Overall the practice was great! They have extended hours for appointments, and I never had to wait during the appointment -- the dentists would always check in quickly so there was no wasted time. Once or twice the cleanings were a little hasty. But overall, I had a great experience here!

I first visited this dentist office while I was an undergraduate at Towson University. Broke a filling during the school year which royally sucked. Dr. Zeffert took care of it for me and when I permanently moved into the area, I have became a regular patient here. Dr. Zeffert, Dr. Chapla, and the entire staff here have been fantastic over the years. I am relocating out of state and won't be a patient anymore. However, for anyone looking for an excellent dentist office in the Towson area, I highly recommend them!
