An Ode To The Place Where Strength Is Reborn. A Heartfelt Thank you to the incredible team at Towson Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. On behalf of patient Lilman Gurung and his family we wanted to thank all the unsung heroes to The Therapist, The Nurses and Nursing assistants, The Doctors and Specialists, To the support staff from Reception to Housekeeping. You guys don’t just do a job, you change lives and that is nothing short of extraordinary. And also to The center itself cuz to anyone walking through those doors patient or loved ones know that you are in a place where hope is a treatment plan and courage is exercised daily. This is just my own personal opinion based on my experience but at the time my friend was there I did not have a very good opinion about the place. Biggest problem I had with the place is I feel like my friend hygiene was very much neglected. My friend has been in a wheelchair and paralyzed from the waist down since I leave for very early twenties and the only way they would clean or bathe my friend I was with baby wipes what's sometimes referred to as a bird bath. Every time I asked them about her maybe being allowed a bath or shower they said she had to sign up or request it. When she would request to sign up for one they would say we either don't have the paperwork right now or can't find it or there's no available spots. Causing her hair to be very very neglected. Therapy is amazing. Food is horrible wouldn't serve it to a dog. Nursing care average at best. Nursing basic training needed. For sample review a patient's chart before going into their room, checking what medication is needed and what care was done by previous nurse that assigned to the patient.

Towson Rehabilitation facility has been so helpful with my father Rehabilitation. The nursing staff, CNA, GNA, and therapy team and a big thank you to Social workers Maria and Monica for caring, providing excellent resources, and always being that listening ear and having a wealth of knowledge to impart. I can't thank you enough.

PLEASE DON'T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! My mother was brought here after having laminectomy surgery in January. She picked the place due to outdated information and ratings given to her by the hospital. When I first walked in you can tell the facility is outdated and has very limited parking. The rooms are very small and tight for 2 patients to be in. There is a very dirty uncleaned bathroom that is shared amongst 4 ppl (the other 2 on the opposite side of the door). The techs here have HORRIBLE bedside manner. The language barrier was difficult but bearable but it was the attitudes that came with it. The fist day she arrived her pain medication scripts had taken over 12hrs to receive from hospital but was not communicated to us at first. Instead of explanting the protocol of this they
