I had a very disappointing experience with this veterinarian and felt compelled to share it. I have a Cane Corso—a large, protective breed—but she has been professionally trained and has never shown aggression toward vets or groomers. Recently, she’s been more anxious than usual due to a major military move from South Carolina to New Mexico and all the associated changes. When we arrived, she was calm and friendly. She didn’t bark or growl, allowed Bret to pet her, and even licked him. Based on that interaction, reading the reviews —and my pleasant phone call with the receptionist beforehand—I felt optimistic about the visit. Great, Dr. Brett Takes time to explain every thing he is doing very compassionate and caring. Has taken care of our animals for years, trust him with all decisions I think he would make a wonderful " People M.D." His wife is also wonderful and kind and always pleasant and helpful to talk with. We and our family of animals are grateful to have Dr. Brett as our Veterinarian.

After calling 5 vet clinics near me and many referring us to Lubbock before even getting us in the door, Bret called us back with a cancellation and got us in quick. Got our puppy tested and he set us up with all the information we needed to care for our puppy and the next steps. Thank you!

The kindest Vet and person. I not only took our sweet pup for her 1st shots but my crew of 4 kiddos and he spoke with each of the kids and answered all their questions. I am happy to have him as a Vet for our pup.
