Town & Country Animal Clinic

This is the most apathetic and incompetent clinic I have ever visited. if you ask any questions your pet will pay the price. My dog was misdiagnosed and when I said she was getting worse they told me I had signed a waiver and was free to discontinue treatment at anytime. I said I wasnt blaming anyone - I just wanted to help my dog. When I asked are you sure her leg is infected with fungus she’s doing really poorly- the doctor assured me his review of the cytology was correct. I called after my appointment because my dog was still declining despite taking all of the expensive treatments they offered. I was told I couldn’t bring her back in early. I waited the full two weeks and was met by the same apathetic people who refused to believe my pet was in decline. The technician called me back

Called to get my cat an appointment as he’s been extremely sick. Lethargic, trouble walking and hardly moving or eating. Apparently they can’t schedule any appointments in advance and told me to call every day until they can see me, but when I called a few months ago just to get him vaccinated they were able to help. How does that make sense?? I just started a new job which makes it difficult to drop everything and drive 3 hours to an animal hospital. Our pets are our family. Do better.

As we were passing through the area on vacation, our dog developed what looked like an ear infection. After taking her to another vet in another town who told us she needed to be sedated to remove an obstruction (for $500) we were looking for a second opinion. They saw us right away (urgent care) and confirmed what we suspected- there was no obstruction. They were so kind and gentle with her and we were given some drops that started to clear up the infection within days. They have a knowledgeable staff and a large, clean facility. We would highly recommend them!

Very good vet clinic The staff is very pleasant and seem to like the animals.

I have been a client since we moved here four years ago with 3 dogs and my horse. I've spent thousands of dollars with this clinic. 2 weeks ago my 30 yr old, healthy horse colicked. The "answering service " for emergencies (it's a service NOT in this area) failed horribly. I called 10 minutes after closing, there were still people IN the clinic and they left me high and dry. They told me to put a colicking horse in a trailer and drive him 3 hours away. I finally found another local vet to help ease him over the bridge. He was in great pain. The clinic blamed the answering service. I never even got a sympathy card or even heard from them without repeated calls from me for answers. I've never had a vet who didn't send a sympathy card when an animal passed. I'm gutted.
