I’ve had an excellent experience with Joel and fascial counterstrain (FCS). The treatment has been incredibly effective, which is especially impressive given how gentle and non-invasive the approach is. Joel knows literally hundreds of the FCS tender points and treatment positions by heart, which I’m continually amazed by; I’m hard-pressed to think of many people who are as intelligent and yet so down-to-earth. I genuinely enjoy the conversations we have and am overall so appreciative to have someone like Joel in the Milwaukee area.

Joel is a great and knowledgeable physical therapist! I’ve really enjoyed coming to treatments and talking with him about my challenges, and simply talking about life! Counterstrain PT Technique is unlike other therapies. Finding Joel, who specializes in this thorough, yet patient-passive therapy, has been a Godsend for me. Years of pain from cervical, thorax and tailbone injury/fractures, left me bent over - actually doubled over, with cramped muscles forcing a very unsteady gait. I was physically off balance and falling down several times a month was not uncommon. I remained in this highly uncomfortable state while receiving over a year, of (non-Counterstrain) physical therapy, because the cause of muscle cramping was not dealt with. Joel should have many more reviews. I’d give him 10 stars. He has fixed me many times. My wife and son have also been fixed. Fixed meaning no more pain. He treats the root cause so the fix is long lasting. I’ve referred many and the ones who went were also fixed. It’s hard to believe chronic pain can be relieved but with Joel it can be. Thanks Joel.
