Dr Lorraine has helped me with some extensive dental work and is always so gentle and kind. Definitely someone who cares about her patients.

Dr. Schwagler & Dr. Martell are my aunt and uncle but regardless of being family, they are excellent dentists. They're both kind people who will go above and beyond for their patients. They are both passionate and knowledgeable. I don't know another doctor/dentist that cares about their jobs and patients like they do. I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially those that are nervous or hate going to the dentist. They are very understanding people and they take their time, explain things before and during any cleanings/procedures etc. and they are happy to help anyone through any nervous feelings. For those wondering, they have this office in Tonawanda and another office in Lockport (Lockport Family Dental).

Horrible Experience First the good: the dental hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth. The bad: I went to Dr. Schwagler for a problem filling which needed to be replaced. To my shock, the new filling was done using amalgam. There's a reason that over 95% of new fillings DO NOT use amalgam - amalgam contains the deadly poison mercury. I called the office and when Dr. Schwagler returned my call, she claimed that she'd used Equia for the new filling. But this isn't my first rodeo, and I know that is a lie. The claim submitted to my insurance also claimed that a composite was used for the filling. The thing is that Equia requires 48 hours to fully cure and patients are advised to eat only soft foods during that time - of course, I wasn't told that because the filling wasn't composite. Not

The best dentist in the area. Dr. Swagler is so kind and compassionate. I’ll never go anywhere else!
