Timberlane Physical Therapy

Based on my initial two sessions, I would highly recommend the Timberlane team. Their assessment has been refreshingly thorough, caring, educational, and empowering. They have gone above and beyond what I've experienced in other physiotherapy clinics. They take time to really listen and analyze the issue from different vantage points in order to get to the heart of the problem. I also appreciate their warmth and humor. The team seems to really enjoy what they do and each other and that joy spills over into their interactions with their patients. During my last visit, I was greeted by the sweetest calm-inducing dog ever while in the waiting room (owned by the doctor next door). I've accessed PT services at two other clinics in VT and while they were good, Timberlane Physical Therapy is hands down the best. I met with Lesli Bell for an initial assessment for a frozen shoulder (my second experience) and I was extremely anxious, as past PT experiences for the same issue were incredibly painful. Everyone in the practice was super friendly and welcoming; the whole atmosphere was just... easy. Lesli was kind, empathetic, honest, practical, reassuring, and clearly experienced and knowledgeable. I walked away with some easy exercises to continue on my own. My shoulder already felt better; there were zero tears or pain, and I was already looking forward to my next appointment. This is my first PT experience. I am completely impressed with the service I have received from Leslie, Stephen and Cory. They are very professional, yet caring and concerned with my progress. I have an injured back/hip and the techniques are helpful yet not too complicated; the exercises are simple to do at home. The front desk is a joy to work with and always has a smile and welcome. The therapists are always happy to take time to explain fully their techniques and how they relate to your issues. Timberlane has really helped my wife...now it is my turn.

My experience at Timberlane has been amazing. I had a complication following major surgery and from the first appointment on have received great care, relief from the pain, several different range of motion manipulations and exercises in office and some to do at home, and explanations of my condition which were highly educational and extremely insightful. I was treated promptly and with great skill and have been empowered to understand my condition and encouraged to work on exercises at home to further my improvement. The change in just a few appointments has been remarkable. I highly recommend this practice.

I had a great experience from the prompt, easy, and friendly scheduling process right through my appointment. Stephen took the time to understand what was going on with my body, helped me to have a better understanding of the reasons why, and helped me create a plan for recovery that fit my lifestyle and routine. He did all this with friendly grace , thorough expertise, and terrific good humor. I’m already seeing results and am very pleased with the recovery process.
