Timber Springs Transitional Care

My husband has been here since June 9, 2023. The CNAs and many of the Nurses do a great job of taking care of the residents. They make sure all of the orders sent from doctors are taken care of. Unfortunately last summer a fax came in to stop his Eliquis because he was going to have an endoscopy. The order didn’t get put in the computer to stop the Eliquis after the night dose and the endoscopy to find out why he keeps choking didn’t happen. Some times the facility doesn’t seem to have enough CNAs for all the residents in need. Some residents may be on the toilet/commode for 40+ minutes waiting for help to get cleaned up. I know a lot of the new residents require at least 2 CNAs to just take care of them, but that barely leaves one CNA for all the rest. When my husband was in the hospital

Very nice facility with amazing staff. Finding a place that truly cares for their residents is difficult in the treasure valley, but this place continues to exceed expectations. Stacy, one of the unit managers, has been a pleasure to work with and constantly goes above and beyond to exceed industry standards in this field. Thank you Timber Springs.

This building truly cares about its residents. The staff is compassionate, hardworking, and dedicated to providing quality care every day. There’s a strong sense of teamwork, and residents and families are treated with respect and kindness.

Looking through the previous reviews for this facility, those people must have their loved one in another state, or those reviews are fake. If you are here every day as I am you would see that this facility is completely under staffed and has no ability to care well for most of the residents especially those here for skilled nursing. Response times for call lights average 20-60 minutes. Communication to staff about specific needs of specific patients is inconsistent. Charting is inconsistent. Random pills found in my mom's room that weren't taken. Security is nil, lucky there hasn't been an incident. The health care system is broken!
