I am very disappointed with the service at this eye doctor’s office on Georgia Ave in Silver Spring, MD. Their customer service is extremely poor. They lost all of my medical records, and every time I call to get help, they give different excuses. They keep telling me to “call tomorrow,” and nothing ever gets resolved. This is very unprofessional for a medical office. Patients deserve reliable service and respect for their medical information. I do not recommend this place.

Doctor Vu is always very respectful and patient in explaining things to you so that you understand what’s happening with your eyes!

I've only been to My Eye Dr twice in the past ten years, but both experiences were fantastic. Quick (but thorough, friendly) exam. I ordered prescription sunglasses. They told me it would take about two weeks since they were coming directly from the manufacturer (Oakley). It took only ONE week, which was great (got a text - very convenient). Very friendly, professional help at the desk, and assisting with frame selection. I would highly recommend.

I was REALLY impressed with their supply of frames. Finding a unique style frame is very important to me, and I went all over Silver Spring until I found this place. The staff was young, extremely helpful, and really knew their frames. If I wasn't sure about a frame, the salesman would go get other staff to weigh in--and their responses were really helpful. They made me feel awesome--a great shopping experience. I personally didn't get my eyes checked here, so I have no idea about the doctor. I still haven't received my glasses, but recommend so far!

Decent exam, no wait, decent price. But I was upsold at every turn, which made it really hard to trust what things/tests I really needed and which things they just said I needed. Aggressive sales tactics for contacts, so much so that they were going to put an order on hold (reserving my insurance authorization), so that I couldn’t go buy the contacts myself online. I was also quoted no less than four different prices in the course of my phone calls and visit with them. Turned out to be a good price, but it could have easily gone the other way.
