Thrifty White Pharmacy

The one lady especially always had attitude and when I called to refill my medication last time, about a month ago, she informed me I hadn't filled meds there since 2024. I informed her my bottle had that address and had been filled in 2025 multiple times. She asked for my birth date again and still said that I hadn't filled any prescription there. Also had to do a med review 3 months in a row which is NOT required but once a year. I switched to a different pharmacy! It may be more packed, but at least they won't argue with me and hold back a med, even when I called it in with 4 or 5 others and couldn't name em all off on the spot when I went to get them, because they felt I didn't need it maybe? But that's none of their business. Especially if they aren't a pharmacist or my doctor.

Edited review for 2023: They've definitely improved how fast it takes to get prescriptions. They've also been extremely helpful with using Goodrx or their prescription service when I've needed to. I've had a few issues with being unable to reach the pharmacy calling in a few different times, but they're probably busy. It goes automatically back to the options menu, but not a big deal. I've started calling in my prescriptions when I have one to 2 weeks left of the medication and they're filled and ready for pick up by the time I need them. Answer the phones promptly and always have my medication in stock. The prices are also lower. While my prescription is not always ready, they are extremely fast at filling it. Would use thriftywhite over Walgreens every time!

My sister who is handicapped gets her prescriptions here. She also gets adult pull up underwear from them. She got a call from them on Thursday that her things were ready. She told them that she is dependent on rides and wouldn't be there to pick up her things until Saturday. Come Saturday when my mom and sister went to pick up her items, they were told that the items had been held for too long and were sent back. Quite disappointing. It is hard to find pharmacies that will take her due to her health and insurance, but we will be finding a new pharmacy after this.

I've never been here before. My mother told me I could get my Moderna booster here. Scheduling online was easy and directions were thorough. The young woman at the front window was rude not only to me but to a caller, too! I have worked customer service for 8 years, and her behavior could use correcting. In the side room they use for vaccines, I mentioned I get nervous with needles, and I started nervously asking questions like if she's a nurse, where she got her certificate to administer the shot, and how much ml the dose was. I work for public education and staff are trained by nurses to administer meds and shots so I was a bit surprised when she said she did her training online.
