Thrifty White Pharmacy

Ive recently moved to clear lake and every single month since October ive had to remind this drug store to refill my prescription…im extremely aggravated with this business. One week I had gone in three times and it still wasnt filled. Today I went through the drive up window asked for my prescription and they had addressed it wasnt even filled. I then said okay well I had this exact same problem last month with you guys. (It was the same lady who helped me last month) she then replied well good morning to you too! So to say the least im super upset! 😠

I have worked with a lot of pharmacies in Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, and Florida, and NONE of them can hold a candle to the Thrifty White Pharmacy in Clear Lake IA. The staff there are so knowledgeable and congenial. They have repeatedly gone above and beyond to help us work out challenges with my dad’s new and regularly changing meds, in an effort to keep his pill packs up to date. I’d like to give special recognition to Carolyn, a Pharmacy Tech at the store. We are forever grateful for her hard work, sunny smile, “we can get this figured out attitude!”

I have used Thrifty white pharmacy on and off throughout the years. I LOVE the staff! They do what they can to make things right for their customers. You can always count on a friendly face when you walk into the store whether they have a line of customers or no one in there at all. They also do an amazing job helping you find ways to save money. I have a very expensive medication I get and haven’t always had the health insurance to help cover the costs but the staff always works with me to help me find the best way to save. Thank you to the thrifty white team for making my life a little easier!

I used this pharmacy 16 years ago when I moved here and had an awful experience the first visit so switched to econo foods pharmacy. After they closed and trying thrifty again it’s still just as awful as it was the first time!! Scripts are never ready, you sit in the drive up line for at least a half hour every time and just as long of a wait inside .

I’ve been using this pharmacy for a year now and every single time I go to pick up my medications they are never filled. Today was my final time using them. I called them to make sure my medication was filled that was sent to them yesterday. They said it was not ready but would be in an hour. I went two and a half hours later and when I got there it was still not filled and she told me it would be a ten minute wait. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
