Thrifty Way Pharmacy

The owner has a lack morality and humanity. I received a phone call after trying since last week to get my son his Nayzilam nasal spray ( it is used for his seizures) and kept getting told that a Prior Authorization was needed. Then after I called medicaid and got the NDC number for them and gave it to them tech at thrifty way. So my son emergency seizure medicine would get filled timely because I have been trying since last week. I got told because my son is on Medicaid they would not order it because the owner would take a loss for the medicine. I did not even know a pharmacy could deny medicine.

Pretty nice actually. So, I've used both Maxor and Walmart but Thrifty was fast and professional. It was a Friday at 3...the ladies banged the prescription out in short order. I don't know what the future holds on insurance but I am retired from Army and will be retired through Social Security soon...hope I can use Thrifty

I have been using thrifty way since July 2023. I have always had a pleasant experience, and continue to use this pharmacy. I called to go over my allergy list (22 meds) and I learned that some of these medications were in the same drug class. I have had severe med allergies since November 2021 that I am finally getting relief from symptoms. Thank you Thrifty Way! I appreciate all the personal care you have shown me. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!

The embarrassment I felt was through the roof. Unprofessional and rude. Updated training is needed. I will be letting my doctor, those at the military installation, and a few others know don't go into that establishment. I am sad to be treated like that more than anything. The druggies have really messed it up for the rest of us. Some of us really do have medical issues and need our medications. She said the D.E.A. Wow. Mr. Mike, train your team, please. The past six months have not been pleasant to deal with this pharmacy. Multiple issues from the computer being down and them not being able to confirm/bill insurance and trying to make me pay full price out of pocket, to telling me they can’t tell me how much a medication would cost out of pocket unless I have a prescription filled, to the overall attitude of the staff. There is a high turnover of employees and it’s very odd. We get 99% of our family prescriptions there so we are there once a week minimum. Every time I walk in there are all New employees. In addition, the young employees know nothing and have no customer service skills (100% true for the phone) and I can never be put in touch with a knowledgeable adult.
