Three Rivers Hospital

My experience with the Three Rivers Family Clinic and Hospital has been nothing but wonderful. I've never felt so seen or heard when it comes to the medical industry. After 13-14 years of being blown off, misdiagnosed, and ran around, Dr. Witt immediately took me seriously despite being a young woman (which should be a given, but women's Healthcare can be a real mess; if you know, you know) and his care was thorough, prompt, and genuine. He took a look at my previous labs and what not and after our first visit he had a good idea of what was really going on. By our second visit he was scheduling me for diagnostic surgery and treatment. By the 3rd visit I was in for my pre-op, and by the 4th visit I was on his operating table. This was one of the best hospital emergency room care I have ever received. I am 9 weeks pregnant and I came in with an extreme case of dehydration due to having a very bad case of the 24 hour stomach bug. The nurses were so kind to me the whole time even when they were completely full. My traveling nurse Rita was so kind I was very worried about my baby she treated me as a human not just a number she told me her story and that I shouldn't worry our bodies are ment to keep babies alive and well. That ment the world to me that she humanized me and cared about my worries. I also noticed the charge nurse was very kind as well she helped Rita get set up and was very kind to her as she got her set up. She was very through and checked on me when Rita got very busy. I recently had a colonoscopy with Dr. Ebaugh. My entire experience was outstanding, from my initial consult with Dr Ebaugh and his nurse who both sat down with me and gave me all the time I needed for questions. The staff at the hospital on the day of the procedure were excellent, from the friendly front desk check in, caring nurse staff, an anesthesiologist that gave me a perfect dose to not remember a thing, and Dr Ebaugh and his team efficiently completing the procedure. Excellent follow up explaining the results, a phone follow up, and a card signed by all of my care providers arrived a few days later. Luckily I don’t have to do this for another 10 years, but I know I will be well cared for when I return.

The staff members were more focused on personal conversations than dealing with a trauma patient with a fractured ankle (me). They tried to reset the foot in question WITHOUT sedation, causing excruciating pain, all for them to transfer me to another hospital over 2 hours away (sacred heart in Spokane, much better hospital) because they didn't have what they needed. Overall, staff had good intentions, but performed very poorly in a trauma situation. Will request a different hospital if three rivers is the closest one to me.

My experience at the Emergence Room on 06/20/2021 was excellent. From Ms. Hernandez to Dr Allen Huffman, the staff that day was great. Ron was very helpful, unhooking and hooking my IV's and BP cuff up so I could use the bathroom several times. Karen the RN started the IV well and hung my IV's quickly and gave my IV zofran quickly as well. Jeffery RN also checked on me multiple times. I felt well cared for even as the day the staff was having a difficult day. Please tell them how much I appreciated their care
