My experience at Torrek Hospital was truly outstanding. From the very first visit, every single person treated me incredibly well. There was not one interaction where I felt anything less than excellent care and kindness. I visited the hospital on three different occasions: the first time for my endoscopy, the second for my preoperative medical and blood exams, and the third for my gastric sleeve surgery. On every visit, the level of attention and professionalism from the staff was consistently exceptional. From the people at the entrance, to the staff who take patient information, to the medical and support teams, everyone showed genuine dedication, kindness, and an amazing attitude. DO NOT GO THERE! They have the worst service ever, they are mean and disrespectful. I was told by a doctor that I might have cancer without any real exams. Also even though I gave them my insurance they didn’t put it and now they are trying to charge me full price. PLEASE, really don’t go there unless you want to wait for hours on a dirty chair and have really bad service

Tonight was the first time I’ve ever been to this facility. I presented to the ER tonight with severe RUQ Abdominal Pain and vomiting blood. With a history of being on blood thinners and anemia I knew I needed to go to the ER. Being brand new to the city I only moved here this last week. I called my roommate who suggested and brought me to Thorek. Upon arrival I was greeted by the young lady at the registration desk. I was immediately checked in and triaged. Once triaged I was informed that the ED was full and that there would be a wait. Completely understandable, as a professional ER Technician myself with 22 years experience I understand that there are wait times. Yes I waited maybe an hour (which is still not bad at all for an ER wait time), at which time I was brought back to a treatme

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. The dr on this date during the day was SO RUDE. He kept walking away from my daughter when we where talking to him about what's going on with her. She has an internal bleed and didn't even give her any medication. They offered her Tylenol which she takes at home. There was no bed side manner, and she was put in the hallway like an animal! Do not go here.

If I could give a separate rating for the ER receptionist/security staff and the hospital itself, I would give zero stars to the ER and five to the hospital. Giving five stars so as to not take away from the great care I received here. My experience began very rocky in the emergency reception. I was the only patient in the waiting room. I was doubled over in pain for over two hours, and when my friend who came with me, asked how much longer it would be he was met with nasty attitude from the receptionist and a security guard who finally took his first break from his cell phone to Jump out of his seat and yell at us “there’s other hospitals If you don’t like it” But I was in so much pain and we’ve waited so long already I wasn’t willing to do it all over again at another place so I just A
