Thompson Health Urgent Care Farmington – Thompson Medical Center

My ankle turned purple after a bug bite and it was addressed and taken care of quickly without issues. Prescribed the right antibiotic. All is well. December 25 edit: Idk why this place has such bad reviews. Excellent staff from the front desk to the back. Easy check in, billing and insurance seemingly handle everything, quickly seen. Totally took care of my really bad ear. Thankful for this place being so close to home and so good at their jobs.

I am unsure why this place has such bad reviews. This is the only urgent care I will go to if I have any problems. Staff is always kind, and supportive, I never wait long to be seen. They always explain the game plan for treatment clearly and make sure that I understand what is going on. Prescriptions are sent right away and I always leave feeling taken care of. I think this is a wonderful location and my Fiancé agrees that this facility gave him the best urgent care experience he has ever had. Hats off to the hardworking staff for absolutely nailing patient flow and communication between each other!

My family has needed to use this location several times in the last year due to our regular physicians being unavailable or over booked. Every visit involved minimal wait time, we were seen quickly by a physician and we were treated with kindness and compassion.

Everyone was just lovely!! From, Susan, the woman that checked us in, all the different nurses (can’t remember them all (Holly was one) the X-ray tech and the Dr. all pleasant and helpful. Can’t say enough good things!!

Definitely do not recommend this office for children especially. The NP was extremely rude and brushed off my concerns. She did not do a full assessment or even listen to me at all. Even one of the nurses wanted to chime in with misinformation. I have worked in pediatrics and have been a RN for 14 years and now in community health. I could have done a better job at the assessment than the NP did with my equipment at home. Extremely rude, condescending, did not listen to any concerns, did not do a full assessment, and tried to say misinformation as a basis of care. If I could rate lower than a one star I would and have spoken to several other mothers whom have stated the same thing about this urgent care.
