Thomas F. Higgins

Dr. Higgins is an excellent surgeon who actually has a great bedside manner which can be lacking in many surgeons. He explains in layman's terms and asks if there are any additional questions or concerns. I have had Dr. Higgins repair several fractures and have always had confidence in his work. My husband is a big fan also, listing Dr. Higgins as his primary care provider because "I saw him the most." Snowboarding, scootering, and mountain biking tend to break bones in our family.

Dr Higgins’s went above and beyond to help me. He squeezed me in after a traumatic injury to my knee, made sure I was put on the surgical schedule for the next day and took wonderful care and patience with me as this was all happening very fast. I am home and recovering well thanks to his deep concern and amazing professionalism

Dr. Higgins made time to see me between surgeries at the referral of Dr. Libre at Alta Mt. clinic after a ski injury & tibial spine fracture. I greatly appreciated Dr. Higgins recommendation to hold off surgery. Now 3 weeks later I’m receiving amazing care from one of his mentees here in NYC, Dr. Forsh. The bone is healing and my crutching skills are improving! Many thanks to you all and your amazing teams.

Dr. Higgins is my go-to for anything ortho. He has patched me back together more times than I can count and has treated my whole family. He IS our orthopaedic doctor.
