Overall, I would recommend Dr. Adrian for laser treatments due to his expertise, available technology and services, and friendly staff. However, I am providing a 3.5 star review because I felt blind sighted by a charge. At the end of a vein laser treatment, Dr. Adrian said, "If they come back, we'll treat them again," and he suggested I schedule a 1-month follow up. Since the treatment was only partially effective, I came back for the follow up. Dr. Adrian treated the veins again, but this treatment was significantly shorter and less intense than the first. When I went to check out, I was shocked that I was again charged exactly the same, full price that I had paid for the first treatment. Dr Adrian is the best dermatologist in the DMV by far. Prior to finding the center for laser surgery, I'd been to multiple top DC dermatologists that all put me on expensive treatment plans that didn't make a difference for the type of acne scars I have. Dr Adrian was the first dermatologist to really look at my skin and give me a treatment plan that genuinely works. He's never tried to upsell me on unnecessary procedures and after seeing him for a year I can wholeheartedly say he's the only doctor I trust fully with my skin.

My one time visit was exceptionally disappointing. I visited Dr. Adrian a few years ago about an all body skin itch problem that was chronic - I brought pictures, explained when and where it happened, the inflamed burning skin, and my increasing alarm. He poked at one or two spots and then sent me on my way. I waited half an hour in the room for a 5 min consultation. The visit cost was exorbitant, even after insurance. I am still having this problem even now and am just thinking about how misheard and ignored I felt. So disappointing.

Just had my first appointment yesterday with dr Adrian. Originally I was nervous as a younger woman coming to him asking for anti aging procedures because some derms aren’t for doing it on younger patients. I was a little anxious and worried I’d be judged but he was very open to doing things to prevent aging and help my skin…. While I was there he even found out I had rosacea, which he said we needed to manage first. He is blunt and to the point, but that’s honestly what makes him a good doctor in my view. He is really amazing at what he does and he is so worth the three hour drive for me. He has some cool nurses there too, and they made me feel very welcome. I already see a difference in my skin and I could cry I’m so happy. Dr Adrian you are amazing and I hope to keep coming to you!

Dr. Adrian came highly recommended by friends as an excellent dermatologist who cares about both the health and appearance of his patients. He was able to eliminate brown spots on my arms and chest that had bothered me for years. He answered all of my questions and did not push any services, which I appreciated. Definitely going back.
