Therapeutic Massage by David Vargas

David is truly unique and wonderful in his craft. I am also a Massage Therapist and focus my work in clinical therapy and Craniosacral work and David is my regular Massage Therapist. His ability to gently release muscles utilizing Ortho-bionomy is incredible. I also absolutely love the energetic piece of this work. I feel as though I'm in the womb at times. He is an exceptionally gifted Therapist doing his life's work, and it shows.

If I could give David more than 5 stars I would. As a former professional ballet and modern dancer in NYC, it is important that a therapist who works with me knows exactly what they are doing. David's technique is superb but just as importantly, he is an intuitive body worker. You are also able to experience his compassion and kindness through his work. I have never experienced any undue or unnatural pain when he is working and am able to relax and trust completely in him. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found David and plan to be clients as long as we are able. David is a true treasure and you will be safe in his hands.

I’ve been seeing David regularly for more than a year and I’m so excited about his new business in North Asheville. Depending on what’s going on with your body, he uses a combination of medical massage and/or relaxing massage therapy. It’s the best of both worlds. He’s extremely intuitive and knowledgeable about the body and how to find and fix the root cause. I often walk in with pain, he tracks down where it’s coming from, and I leave feeling good as new. The massage space is in a great location with parking, and the room has great ambiance—clean, serene and well decorated. David has a warm and approachable energy. I recommend him to anyone looking for pain relief!

Hands down the best massage work I have experienced. David is knowledgable, professional in relation to the client, and puts my wife and me at ease. He tailors each session to what are my present needs. He has a variety of techniques and plenty of hand strength. Highly recommended.

I found David 4 years ago through a local pilates instructor. While playing golf I had developed some intense low back and right leg pain and weakness. I was looking for an Ortho Bionomist, and he was highly recommended. I have been seeing David as needed over the last 4 years. His knowledge of the inner workings of human body is amazing. His massage experience coupled with knowledge of Ortho Bionomy and the Hesh technique make David a quality choice if you have any type of muscle or joint discomfort. By the way, if you are looking for a relaxing, tension releasing massage, you have come to the right guy.
