The Welsh Home

My mother has been to several rehab facilities and to The Welsh Home several times. Hands down Welsh is the best in the Cleveland area. They go above and beyond to care for their patients and residents. I would not take a family member anywhere else and I work in the health care industry.

The place is located conveniently in the city of Rocky River. I was very delighted with the cleanliness of the place. The staff is very kind and professional. The rooms are a nice size and the furniture is very decent.

The people here are remarkable, some better than others. I was there for 3 weeks. The people that stood out to me were aids Tee, Madison, and Tenisha. The nurses that stood out to me were Francisco, Elaina, and Brianna. Charlotte, the PA was on the ball. Andrea and Quynh were wonderful therapists. The kitchen was run by an awesome woman who gave me plenty of food since I'm a big girl. Big shout out to her! And why I don't mean to say everything was perfect I enjoyed my stay as much as possible.

My 95 year old mom has been at the Welsh Home recovering from an extended hospital stay. I can’t say enough good things about this facility. The grounds are amazing! The facility is incredibly clean! The food is made fresh every day and is very good. And every staff member is friendly, professional, and makes this place great. The whole team here really wants what is best for the patients. Our mom went to the Welsh Home initially for recovery and therapy after hip surgery in February of 2023. We then made the decision to move her there as a permanent resident, due to her declining health related to Parkinson’s disease. She remained at the Welsh Home until she died this past November. Our family was very pleased with the care Mom received, and the entire staff (kitchen, cleaning, laundry, nursing, aides, activity) was attentive to her needs. Our family was always warmly greeted by the front desk staff. The kitchen learned Mom’s preferences and prepared foods that she enjoyed and was able to eat.
