A Truly Special Place! The Waters is a wonderful community, and a big part of what makes it so special is the incredible staff — especially Tracy, the Activity Director. Tracy goes above and beyond every single day. She's constantly organizing fun and meaningful activities, not just within the community but also out in the larger Boone County area. Her energy, creativity, and genuine care for the residents really shine through in everything she does. This year, thanks to her leadership and spirit, The Waters took home the Spirit Award at the Boone County Senior Olympics — and it was so well deserved! We were very disappointed in the care my brother-in-law received at this facility. Every single time I visited him he was soaking wet through double (they put on two) pairs of adult underwear, his sheets and the pad underneath. There’s much more that I would like to add to this list but I will leave it with saying he had less than average care.

My daughter and I love the Trunk or Treat event, it seems to be better every year! And I love to keep up with the residents' activities on the Facebook page. They seem to really have fun. I also appreciate the rehabilitative care a dear friend received there a couple of years ago. She had great things to say about the care she received.

My great grandfather passed away here in 2021. My family had a rough experience with the entirety of his care. That experience shaped how I felt and would not have recommended until recently. I came in to do a tour with my friend for her father who was needing long-term care and would accept his insurance. I was pleasantly surprised with the inside of the facility being clean and updated as well as the staff’s attitude and friendliness. The Therapy Director toured us and was so helpful and exceptionally kind! We will definitely recommend them to anyone in our shoes!

I have visited this facility on several occasions and have always found it to be very clean and well maintained. The staff are attentive and caring, and there is consistently some type of activity taking place. The residents appear engaged, active, and genuinely enjoying themselves, which speaks volumes about the quality of care provided here
