The Waters of Fort Wayne

The staff was great except the executive director Cindy she’s definitely a piece of work. Rude as hell to her staff and to residents family members. I moved my father out of there because I will not deal with her and her bad attitude.

The Waters of Fort Wayne is truly uplifting! The staff is remarkably compassionate and knowledgeable, and the facility is impeccably clean. They offer skilled living, rehabilitation, and memory care, all of which are absolutely life-changing. There are numerous activities for the residents, delicious meals, and it's an all-around extraordinary place. I wholeheartedly recommend!

The rehab is excellent. It may not be the shiney new building but it has a lot of charm and a terrific staff. They have recently added a cozy new memory care with well trained and highly attentive staff. Cassandra is a gem and very helpful when making such a difficult choice. I highly recommend contacting her for a visit and help guiding through this process.

In October I was sent to rehab at the waters for my right hip. I was really not walking. Ball joint was gone and no cartilage. Worst pain I've had to deal with to date. They were so kind to me and very caring. They were crying with me when they helped me up . I waited 5 years for a new hip which several docs said no for many reasons knowing I wasn't walking. Finally found a surgeon, that said I've been medically mistreated. He replaced my hip! Game changer! Then, after surgery went back to the waters for rehab again . That was in December. I was sent home early as I was doing awesome walking! Everyone there treated me so well. I miss the aids and nurses and really miss the physical therapists! The food was exceptional too! I enjoyed every meal. I got to go home just before Christmas. Thank
