The Skin Center Dermatology Group - Dr. Peter C. Friedman

I had been a patient here for more than 25 years. I always liked Dr Friedman. But last week I called to make an appointment for an urgent condition that required immediate attention as I am traveling. The receptionist said she would ask him if he could fit me in. She PROMISED to call me back. I waited but she never called. Very disappointed. The office is usually well run and efficient.

I’m a big fan of Dr Friedman as he’s a first class dermatologist. I was referred to him a couple of years ago by a colleague. And have never regretted making the switch. His surgery is always really busy but runs like clockwork. Always make an appointment here as he doesn’t facilitate walk-ins. Update 09/23/22 Leaving a message on Monday morning requesting a call to set up an appointment….I never got a call back. This morning I called again and was greeted in a rather dismissive manner by a receptionist who sounded like she really couldn’t care less. No apologies….she went on to state that she could set up an appointment in November. I asked if there was anything sooner…..she told me I would have to take that appointment and see if they had a cancellation. Dr Friedman is wonderful…..but

Dr Friedman seems to be a good doctor. But communication is atrocious. You can’t get through over the phone. You’ll wait on hold and then suddenly click they hang up on you. That’s IF you even get through AT ALL. And they are not accommodating for rescheduling.

Dr Friedman and his staff are very professional, low key and courteous. Appointments were on time.

Terrible service, the front desk is horrible. The doctor Is just ok, not worth the unprofessional behavior that the front desk gives you.
