I had heard mixed reviews about prices and up selling attempts before making an appointment. That didn't happen. Before our appointment, the office called our previous vet and got the records sent over. When we arrived (very clean facility) we were taken back within 10 minutes of our appointment time. I explained what we were visiting for and what we needed. The provider and tech were incredibly kind and gentle to my little buddy and we left with our bill under 300 dollars (office visit, blood work, medication). I think that is a very understandable price for what we received and, honestly, peace of mind knowing your little friend is healthy is always priceless. Thank you to everyone at the office for a great stress free experience.

I called The Pet Hospital of New Bern on 1/15 after noticing my almost 11 year old cat breathing through his mouth following a coughing fit. I was really, really hoping it was just an upper respiratory infection, or maybe AT WORST asthma. After the exam, X-rays, and lab work, I was given the worst news of my entire life. My best friend in the whole wide world had cancer. My entire world went dark in that moment. But even then, I never once felt uncomfortable, rushed, or like I was just another patient. I truly felt like the entire staff cared about Sino. Even while I was crying my eyes out and could barely get words out, everyone treated me with patience, kindness, and respect. They took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood what was happening, while also treating

Great staff. The veterinarian was awesome. Took care of my cat. And 2 dogs. I recommend this place. They explain everything to you and make you feel at home like your family.

I have used this veterinary facility for a while now and overall I've been pleased with the service my pet received during that time. The vet and their techs are all very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I've always been satisfied with the diagnoses that the veterinarian gave us for the different reasons we've had to go. The only reason I gave 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because my older dog finally got to the point where he was in constant pain, the pain meds weren't working anymore, he could barely walk and he cried through the night. Although at almost 15 years old this is to be somewhat expected we couldn't stand for him to go on very long in this state. So after about two weeks of him struggling, limping, crying through the night, barely eating not to mention the incontinence we coul

It is clear that the priority is billing rather than the pet’s health. This clinic obviously must be private equity-owned, not family-run, to operate so rigidly and heartlessly. I cannot recommend this clinic for anyone seeking urgent, practical care. They'll nickel and dime you for every scent they can get. I’ve been a patient here for multiple cats and have come in for deworming treatments in the past(5 months ago this past September). Despite this, when my cat vomited multiple live roundworms — which I even collected in a bag — the clinic refused treatment unless I paid for a fecal and a full visit. Even after explaining that I don’t have the finances to do additional testing, they insisted on following strict policy rather than providing basic care. A visit is $65–80, a fecal is $42,
