The Pearl of Hinsdale

The facility was clean and organized. My mom's (frances) nurse was concerned and caring,patient. The day shift staff was very accommodating and friendly. The p.t. and o.t therapist were patient and caring. Food was ok. but liked that you could bring in food and beverages to leave in fridge. I felt secure leaving my mom at pearl of Hinsdale. My wife was sent to the Pearl for rehab for a partial hip replacement. If I was rating just the physical and occupational therapists, it would be 5 stars. They were awesome had her ready to come home in thirteen days. For the most part, the remainder of the staff was friendly, especially those is reception. The facility was clean although somewhat dated. Now the reason for the loss of two stars. My wife is a special needs patient with extensive food allergies that extend to the medicines that she takes. As a result, I provided all of her food and her medications. Day one, in thru the door waltzes a tech with a food tray. The tray was refused. When management was asked about this, the response was a meal must be provided for every patient, the staff will sort it out. The same expe

My brother has been a patient at The Pearl of Hinsdale, a skilled nursing & rehab facility, where he has received excellent health care and physical therapy. The staff is great, the place is clean, and my brother says the food is very good. I would like to give a special shout-out and a huge thank you to Steve at The Pearl’s front desk. Steve has been extremely helpful whenever we call The Pearl; he provides answers in a very congenial and pleasant manner, and Steve always connects us to the appropriate person at The Pearl to assist with our brother’s care. Steve recently helped us with some important paperwork too. I just want to give a big thank you to Steve at The Pearl of Hinsdale for all of his great help and assistance.

My husband was in for Rehab for a non weight bearing fractured. Was recommended by a Hospital PT as the place to go for excellent Physical Therapy. Did not let us down. PT staff was excellent and treated everyone with respect and compassion. Facility was very clean. Food was good. All Staff was very friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend Pearl to anyone looking for a Rehab.

My Mom has been here for rehab, this is her 5th time. She LOVES the therapy department (a special shout out to her regular therapists Ula, Diana and Anna!) Mom always enjoyed her therapy time with everyone in the dept. My folks were very pleased with her nursing care! A shout out to Val, Tammie, Paula, Charia, Ozzie and to her CNAs: Aidan, Faten, Angelina, Tina, Star,. I apologize if I forgot names! Thank you to Karina for helping us get Mom transitioned from the hospital to the Pearl. Thank you to Sean (Admin) for always being available for questions we had. Mom always commented on how clean the facility was and that the food has improved since her last stay. I know this is long, but this all needed to be said. Mom is doing well at home thanks to her care from you all!
