The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

My mother stays at The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale, and I can honestly say the care and compassion here have been outstanding. From the nurses to the entire staff, everyone treats residents with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness. It truly gives our family peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands. I especially want to recognize Lorena, the concierge. She is absolutely wonderful — always available, incredibly helpful, and consistently goes above and beyond for both residents and families. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail do not go unnoticed. She makes a real difference in the day-to-day experience for the people who live here. Vanessa the CNA is great! Beth is amazing and super attentive. All the nurses on the south unit are so helpful and always pitching in. Duline and her sister are also fantastic. Tanille the nurse is super sweet. Lorena is always running around and helping. Jonathan and David are always so motivational. All the therapists are really nice! Both Daniels are super sweet and helpful. My night CNA is super kind and accommodating and we get along really well!

This place is great! Donna the CNA from 11-7 is amazing, she's always cheerful and respectful. I love having her around! Monique the CNA is a character and very joyful. Brittany the nurse is constantly busy and taking care of everyone. Lorena is a sweetheart, she is always smiling and positive. Fabian and Gladys are the dynamic duo of CNAs. Jody is very impressive too!

My father was recently a patient at The Pearl for rehabilitation, and unfortunately the level of care he received was far below what we expected. While many staff members were friendly, the overall quality of care was underwhelming and concerning. The food was consistently poor—both in appearance and taste—which contributed to my father losing a significant amount of weight during his stay. He required full assistance with bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, brushing his teeth, and general hygiene. Despite this, he was frequently left sitting in a soiled diaper for extended periods, sometimes over 40 minutes. Annie on west wing is a saint, she always does everything that I ask her to do. Brittany is always there for me and has a great personality. Marilyn is always AMAZING to me and gives excellent care. Samantha is always coming to check on me even when she's not on my unit. Lorena and Daniel helped me out immensely. Balona and Mary are always super sweet.
