We have received great care at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital overall, and we truly appreciate the staff who have helped us through a very emotional and difficult time. However, today’s experience deserves its own review. We were scheduled last-minute for an add-on surgery and were told someone would call with the time. Since we live an hour away, we stayed in Tallahassee to be ready. Around 3:45 pm a nurse called and asked if we could come in immediately for paperwork. We explained that crossing Tallahassee traffic in 15 minutes wasn’t possible, and she said that was perfectly fine.
