The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy

I have been a client of this medicine shop for over twenty years. I have seen many changes with them. A lot of new faces throughout the years. However, the pharmacists are all amazing and have been with the Medicine Shop for years. They are consistent, reliable, friendly, kind, and treat others with respect!

Switched years ago and won’t go anywhere else (except the Medicine Shoppe in Lake StL for compounds). Andrew and the team go above and beyond. Small town business, so they do keep banker’s hours. Do hiccups happen? Sure. I’ve had a lifelong health issue, and that’s the nature of the pharmaceutical industry. But I rest assured that Elsberry Pharmacy will do everything they can. Kind, VERY knowledgeable, will help me by contacting busy doctors, find coupons, and can order rare prescriptions promptly. If there’s an OTC product I like, they will work to get it in stock. They help their customers navigate the jungle that is modern medicine. A pharmacy as it should be.

Very friendly and prompt staff. The pharmacist Andrew is great. After going to this pharmacy, I wont use another. They took the time out to explain the medicines to me, and was happy to do so. I have not had this great of service in a long time. Great job!

I visited the pharmacy today to use the new CallinDoc system. It was so convenient to use. I was able to get swabbed right in the pharmacy for Strep, then answer a few questions on the computer, and then I was done! The prescription was sent to the pharmacy without me having to make a doctors appointment at all! Will 100% be using from now on!

My husband has end stage renal disease and requires quite a few specialty medications. Andrew, the pharmacist, is always very knowledgeable about interactions and always willing to help when we run into a problem with medicine, insurance, etc. Amanda at the register is always friendly and helpful. Small town service at it's best!
