The Massage Center - Lakeland

The Massage Center at the St. Lukes Health and Wellness Center is amazing! I happened to be in the neighborhood so I stopped in to make my first appointment. The young lady at the reception desk is very friendly. She scheduled my massage and provided me information on membership packages. I decided to wait until my massage to make a decision on signing up for a membership. The day of my appointment went smoothly. I filled out my paperwork then waited maybe just 5 minutes before I was greeted by my therapist. My massage therapist was also friendly. She listened to my needs and provided a fantastic service. I had such a great experience that I signed up for the membership, which is very affordable, I might add. Glad I found this place. I look forward to my next massage!

Place was great, Kandi was my massage therapist. My fiance' set everything up and didn't have any problems. The staff were friendly and polite. Not a huge fan of the Tip procedure, probably shouldn't have a Tip section on the receipt if you can't leave one on the card. I would recommend they make it protocall to advise all clients that tips are only accepted in form of Cash while scheduling. I believe it would improve customer satisfaction. It's the little things that make a big difference. Definitely going to schedule some regular appointments probably 3 times a year.

I have been a client of the Massage Center for the past 3 years and have been very pleased each time I have went. All of the massage therapists are amazing and take the time to listen to your specific needs. The front desk person Shelby has a very friendly disposition and makes scheduling very easy. The new facility is also great. I highly recommend this place!

The massage therapist was good, but the staff that runs the place is incredibly rude. The first time I went I tried to leave a tip for the therapist on my card and they said no, that I could only pay cash. Okay, that would have been nice to know when making the appointment... I don't carry cash, so I had to go drive around south Lakeland after my session to find an ATM and come back. That aside, I made another appointment a few months later and the day of, I had an actual emergency and I called to reschedule the appointment I had for that afternoon. The woman I spoke with was incredibly annoyed and told me that since it was within 24 hours if I wanted a new appointment, then I had to buy a new Groupon. I definitely recommend treatment at The Massage Center - Lakeland (Velocity Chiropractic and Rehab)!! The massage atmosphere is great and the therapist is even better. Carmen really takes time to get to know her patients so that she may better serve them. She is very knowledgeable and goes to great lengths to make her patients feel comfortable and at ease.
