The Lois Pope Pet Clinic

On February 20, 2026, I brought my dog by the name of Brookie to Dr Pope clinic. From the time that I arrived with my yellow lab, Two nice ladies saw that I need to help in the parking lot with my dog and without requesting them, came to my vehicle and helped me. The receptionist, the Assistant and Dr. Pope were wonderful with my dog and talking to me. I could tell that the staff Really love pets and how important they are to our life. Not only did I receive great care for my dog But the full examination with all kinds of test was far more reasonable than any vet that I’ve been to. This pet clinic is wonderful. The vets and vet techs have compassion for animals. I’ve taken my dogs and a sick cat here and every time the service and outcome is fantastic. They prices are fair, lower than other vets, the office staff is very friendly and communicate/follow up well. The staff works with dog and cat rescues on site, they are very accommodating and know how to care for the animals. They do not do anything unnecessary and give you options. I was helping an outside cat and other places were going to force sedation to even examine the animal and the Lois pope pet clinic said no, we don’t want to do that unless it’s necessary, they were able to see, treat and vaccinate the cat without sedation. 10 stars!!!!

We absolutely love The Lois Pope Pet Clinic and highly recommend them. We found our precious Bella 10 years ago at Tri County Animal Rescue and were overjoyed when the Clinic opened. The veterinarian is incredible. He really cares about animals, as does everyone there. Our baby had a stroke, but she is back and happy once again. We are so grateful for the doctor and the clinic.

I had a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience at this clinic. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was clearly quoted $45 for the visit. However, once I arrived, I was told there is an additional mandatory $15 “registration / nurse fee.” This fee was not disclosed in advance over the phone. The clinic explained that the nurse’s work must be paid separately. This raises a logical question: who is responsible for the time I lose when a client is misled about the price at the scheduling stage? It’s also important to note this is not an isolated incident. During a previous visit, I was also pushed into additional tests and lab work that were not discussed ahead of time and were not clearly justified. We've been taking our pup to Lois Pope since she was a baby. In that time she seen three different veterinarians and all of them have been very kind and wonderful to her. I've discussed diet and various things relating to her general health with the nurses and the doctors there and they've always been helpful. Prices are great compared to everything else around it. Highly recommended
