The Kidz Care Klinic

I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Gibson for over 20 years, but my recent experiences at the clinic have been disappointing. Upon entering, the strong smell of marijuana is off-putting, which detracts from the professionalism I once appreciated. The front desk staff has become unprofessional, even engaging in disagreements with clients. Additionally, in the event of an emergency, you are required to contact the office through the portal and wait 24-48 hours for a response, which is unacceptable. This is not the standard of service I have come to expect, and as a result, I will not be returning to the clinic.

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!! Do not be like me and disregard the poor review ratings and comments from others and decide to try them out. I made that mistake and let me tell you, the reviews are ALL accurate Dr. Michelle Gibson is very unprofessional and she does not have the best interest of the parents nor kids. Her receptionist is just as rude as she is. Unfortunately, I think this is the norm for them based on the reviews. I try to support black businesses but it’s so hard to when they exhibit indecent behavior. Long story short, I was unable to go to the doctors appointment due to working full-time, so I sent my best friend. When Dr. Gibson went to weigh in my children, my friend called me so that I can let the doctor know the issues my kids were having, even though they were scheduled

My daughter has been going to Dr. Gibson for 8 years now and after this morning SHE WILL NOT BE RETURNING! The office staff is very rude and unprofessional! I had an appointment this morning for 8:15, when I made it the office assistant told me that my appointment needed to be rescheduled because Dr. Gibson was out. My problem with that is NO ONE TRIED TO CONTACT ME BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT (No call, no text, no email) to let me know this information before hand which could have saved me gas, taking time off work, as well as making my daughter miss instructional time at school. When asked if I could be provided with some type of excuse so that I could take my daughter to school without an unexcused tardy, I was told there was nothing they could do because she was not seen by Dr. Gibson. This clinic used to be great with my first child. My son (2nd baby) was a patient here 6 years. In those 6 years I’ve experienced some of the worst treatment ever. Her staff is very incompetent to say the least. They actually thought I was going to pay a $20 fee for a missed “ well baby” appointment a year prior. That’s a check up for infants MY SON WAS 5 at the time!!!! I didn't make any appointments. Long story short she wouldn’t see my son when he was really sick. I’ve since found a new doctor that TAKES WALK INS, IS OPEN MONDAY- FRIDAY, & HAS AWESOME STAFF.

I really hope and pray that Dr. Gibson gets herself better staff that knows how to look up accounts and resolve them. I continually get bills from this clinic when my kids is no longer patients there. The front office staff is very rude and keeping me on hold. Keeps picking up the phone and putting back on hold. Dr. Gibson is a good doctor but only time my children could be seen is when I had bills with the clinic. Everytime I have taken my kids there it was always a bill. Everytime I have called to see about the bill always was told it's not one. Continue receiving them in the mail. On hold for 30 mins for the staff to tell me i have to go through the portal. I have sent messages and no one answers the portal. We have paid every bills but getting bills from 2021.
