At The Kids Specialists, community wellbeing is a mission, not a fancy slogan. My children have been with Drs. Mauer and Clemons since almost literally day one and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They treat my family as a part of theirs rather than a number, and will spend the time needed to conduct the proper examinations that I find more and more medical professionals skip out on these days in attempts to meet quotas, etc. With their experience, they not only know what to look for but, more importantly, will ask the right questions to understand the health history and needs of the children they see. Been coming here for 20+ years my son was one of Dr. Mauer's first newborns babies. My daughter loves both doctors as well she's in high school. They take great pride and care in your children's health.

Initially, I appreciated Dr. Clemons and her candid personality when it came to caring for my son. Recently however, she left a voicemail on my phone stating blood results suggest a disease and it was after hours when she called so I could not call her right back to ask questions or voice my concerns. In the voicemail she mentioned referring us to a specialty doctor. After meeting with the specialty doctor he informed me to not pay attention to that diagnosis since the test Dr. Clemons ordered is no longer used to determine that disease. Additionally, her office did not forward any of the results to the specialist. How could the doctor help my son if they didn’t have access to any data?? Luckily, I remembered I could create a labcorp account myself and was able to share the results with th

I have been taking my daughter here since she was born last year May and I always feel confident she is getting the best care. I just gave birth and am definitely bringing my new daughter here as well. Dr. Mauer is great and remembers her patients and their parents by name. I highly recommend her for your children's health care!
