The Heart Center of Palm Coast - Dr. Amit Nanavati

I have a serious heart condition, and my primary care physician instructed me to see a cardiologist immediately. The only reason I chose this office was because the cardiologist here treated me during my hospitalization two weeks ago and specifically said they wanted to monitor my recovery. For the past two weeks, I have been communicating with their office so that I can see the cardiologist. Despite it all and trying to follow the proper channels, dealing with paperwork, faxing, and coordination between offices, I was told by a worker whose name starts with a 'T' told me that I was “not a patient there” and was strongly advised to find another cardiologist. She was unprofessional by acting like she was put out while working with me and verbatim told me "you don't want to start with me."

The doctor seemed fine. Difficult to contact office and staff. I am looking for a new cardiologist. If I had something serious going on, this is not the place I want to deal with.

This office and staff are great. They have helped me so very much, always answer my calls or my posts. They treat me with the upmost respect at all times.

I have never in my life had such a difficult time reaching a Dr office than calling this one.
