The Heart Center

Darlene H made it her duty to tell the lobby that i was ineligible for insurance and that i had to pay out of pocket. I was so embarrassed she was loud as I couldn’t hear her when i was sitting directly across from her. It was like she wanted everyone in the lobby to know that i was no longer insured and couldn’t afford my visit. I’m sure it’s because I am a person of color……

Confused as to why I was directed to the heart center. For diabetics issues. Person who answered said that doctor did not work in that office yelled at me and then hung up. Said I was rude for asking for diabetes personnel and not knowing I had called the heart center.. heartless staff. . Your staff Need to work on your people skills. That's the paycheck.

REGARDING: C. Dean Katsamakis D.O. I would highly recommend getting a 2nd opinion. If I could give no star I would. Family member had mild heart attack no damage done to the heart. Begged Dean not to put him on medication he insisted putting him on Metoprolol & Lipitor. He had all the serious side effects and Dean wouldn't let me stop it or lower the dosage. Talked to 5 different pharmacists and they all said medication should have been stopped immediately at hospital before release. Was on Metoprolol & Lipitor they made his Parkinson's unbearable and he was gone within 7 months. Metoprolol if this is stopped immediately it's sudden death per pharmacists. These are not medications to be played with. Be safe with the medications and google and research everything.

My husband, father, mother-in-law, and father-in-law are all patients at the Heart Center. For any of those appointments we rarely wait long enough to even get the symptom questionnaire done. We have dealt with Dr. Broman and Dr. Lamonto, and couldn't be more pleased.

Very unprepared group of people. After waiting over a month to get in there Dr had not reviewed any of my prior information. Came in the room clueless and full of assumptions. Just took two steps back. O well they got my money and that's what it is all about right?
