I have had bad hearing for years but I never addressed it because of the claustrophobic feelings I would encounter when put in the old fashioned sound proof box like room to be tested. I finally took the leap and went to Todd at the great American hearing company. What a life changing visit that was! Todd was patient, thorough, and explained how much my hearing was off, and he suggested the perfect hearing aids for my situation. It's now one year later and I am amazed of how much I can hear now. Music, birds, conversations, etc. I never realized how much I was missing or how isolated I was. The whole process was so much easier than I expected. I have been working with The Great American Hearing Aid Company in Cottonwood, Arizona for over a year and couldn’t be more pleased with their service and the Signia Hearing Aids I purchased from them. Todd and Cynthia are just good people to work with. Todd does the most extensive hearing test and hearing aid calibration I’ve ever experienced in ten years of having hearing aids. I give my very highest recommendation to Todd with Great American Hearing Aid Company. The Hearing aids I recently purchased from Great American Hearing Aid are my third pair. I bought a set from Costco about ten years ago and a set from Bose last year. The ones from Bose were over the counter and they amplified all sounds which helped in some ways and hurt in others. Very quickly the negative outweighed the positive and I didn't wear them. The Costco ones might have been good if the person who fitted them for me took half the time, half the effort and half as much attention as Todd did. It became obvious to me that the eight or nine other hearing aid companies didn’t want to deal with me because I hadn’t bought my hearing aids at their stores.
