The Gift of Speech

I want to thank Tracey McDonell and all the staff at The Gift of Speech for taking care of my daughter Jayleen. My daughter sufferred a hemorrhagic stroke at 17 years old. When she came home after a long hospital stay, she suffered from verbal apraxia and aphasia, along with other medical complications. It was very difficult for her to pronunce words and speak. We went through 4 different speech therapist, but nobody helped her as good as Tracey did. She showed us love and support and found different techniques in helping my daughter get words out and speak. At our 1st appointment with Tracey, my daughter could not count, say her ABC’s or communicate with others. Now, 18 months later she is taking her 1st semester at CSU Stanislaus. None of this could of been done without Mrs. McDo

My child has been going here for almost 2 years and it is the highlight of his week. Miss Melissa at the front desk is amazing and she totally understands what it's like to have a child with special needs. Everyone there is so great and friendly. We just love going to the "high shelf"

My son received speech services through Gift of Speech for about 4 years. Each speech therapist that he worked with was patient and kind. They helped him make incredible progress with his speech. The owners are very kind and professional. We are very grateful to the Gift of Speech for their dedication to helping my son.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Kara, Tracey, and my son's therapist Cierra were all very helpful and supportive. My son's time attending Gift of Speech was nothing short of life changing for him and our family. If your child is in need of speech therapy, this is the place to go.

I want to start by saying Thank You to everyone here at gift of speech especially To Tressa who worked with my Son Ethan. I can tell it made a world of difference to bring him here My wife and I can see the progress he made. We were referred here by VMRC My son diagnosed with Autism could say a total of 12 to 15 words at age 3 ,he did not understand concepts nor stay still to understand really anything thoroughly.Thank you Melissa as well .He will be back soon near next summer
