Went to White Plains NY office 6/13/2024. Drove there from Massachusetts, as Dr. Gelb was highly recommended for TMJ and I'd already been to two specialists in my State who were unable to help. My cousin was a hygienist for two dentists in the Westchester area and they'd always send their TMJ patients to him with great results. As for me, yesterday the appointment went well. Dr. Gelb thoroughly explained everything and showed me the imaging of my mouth and jaw, pointing out what's wrong and how these issues can be addressed in the least invasive way possible. He was also able to identify some trigger points, simply by touching these areas, without me having to tell him that these spots were painful. His assistant Ruthie is also highly knowledgeable, answering every question clearly. Their

I have been in pain from TMJ for 20 years and cannot believe the difference Dr. Gelb’s appliances make. I have substantially less jaw pain and tension headaches and am sleeping better. Dr. Gelb is super attentive as is his staff. He will explain the rationale for your treatment and give you tips on other ways to improve your maladaptive habits. All I can say is if you want to be out of pain do not hesitate to see him. I really wish I did it sooner.

I saw Gelb in his Manhattan Office pre Covid and found his staff excellent. However , my experience with him is different and I hope his bedside manner has improved. He gets annoyed to hear that his mouthpiece is not working. He dismissed my questions and he speaks condescending to his staff. Though I have an insurance, I still have to pay thousands of dollars as his services is not fully covered. I didn't return after several visits as his mouthpiece is hurting me. It is changing my bite which i found later from another specialist that it is not the right option for me. So my advice to everyone is get a consult from this office and another specialist before making a decision.

As a dental consultant for 17 years, I can assure you of this. The Gelb center does NOT have polite administrators. They do not even speak to the Orthodontist with respect. On a recent visit they were so rude that my Fiancée could not wait to leave. Dr Gelb, you need to address this, if it matters, its is your name on the door not the employees. To all future patients DO NOT tolerate disrespect and attitude from the office administrators.

I've been suffering for years with chronic- and by chronic I mean daily- jaw pain, limited jaw mobility, headaches. I finally decided to do something about it and I went to Dr. Gelb one month ago. Here I am one month later and I feel like a different person. I don't have any of the above symptoms at all. I am pain free! On top of that, I was a throat clearer. Ive tried many different treatments for this and nothing has ever worked. I cant tell you how this has frustrated me and my coworkers and family members for years-Years. Now all gone! Stop, I can't believe it myself. Oh and here is another amazing bonus. I don't snore anymore. Not at all. Dr. Gelb has changed my life. Sincerely.
