The Center at Advocate

I am deeply disappointed with the quality of nursing care at this facility. While some staff members are polite and helpful, the nursing team has repeatedly shown unprofessional behavior, poor communication, and a lack of compassion. These issues have affected my loved one’s comfort and safety. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the standard of care.

My family member has been at this building for many years. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. All staff is warm, loving and professional, and provide excellent care. .. The cooks ask about alternatives/addiitions they may provide to regular meal menus, in addition , plus I have noticed that the menu is changing and they’re including more fresh fruit ( who doesn’t like fresh fruit , right ) , even in right textures on desserts since sometimes they were repetitive before . Also Special events are well planned including ice cream socials. Religious services include Catholic masses as well . All are welcomed and included. I have had friends in other skilled facilities and not seen this high level of care and devotion.

I came to visit my friend at Advocate Care, unannounced from England. I was the main caregiver for both my parents for more than 20 years and understand the care system in UK and what good care should look like. I am pleasantly surprised to see the care my friend is receiving is above and beyond my expectation. The staff were always attentive, responding to her needs. The management is transparent. I received all the information I needed regarding her care and my mind has been put at ease. I now have the confidence that my friend is in safe hands and look forward to working with the establishment remotely from the UK for her continued comfort and progressive recovery.

I visit every year from the united kingdom, and have been coming here for over two years now, as my mom has been in this facility for that long. Since my visit last in September 2024, the positive changes I have seen this year, have been remarkable. There's clearly a new manager and a revitalized approach to care, because my mom looks and sounds so much more alert and well. I want to give a special thanks to the management team for this turnaround in my mom's health and well-being. It's made a world of difference to us

My brother suffered from hemiplegia & aphasia and stays at Advocate East Boston for his rehab since Dec 2024. With the help of the professional therapy team and care from the nursing / CNA team, my brother has improved / progressed to walker & simple words and developed a regular daily routine / living at the facility. Our family is grateful to the staff at Advocate, especially those on the first floor who provide tirelessly caring for my brother (to name a few: Zue / Emi, Wich-Kenny / Daphne / Suzanna / Nordi / Laurae / Mel / Maria / Luz) Great staff makes Advocate a success in the Rehab / SNF sector.
