The Care Center

Absolutely atrocious care of my family member which was here about 8 months ago. Staff ignores their patients and acts as though it's too much of a hassle to care for them medically. They should remove the word care from their name. 1 star is being generous. If I could give them less I would. If you love your family don't go here. Save yourself and your family the pain of dealing with these awful people. Chosen for physical therapy and care they barely even spent 10 min with the patient.

My mother in law has been here for more than 2 years - and has received EXCELLENT care!! Thank you for being there for her when we can’t be - especially Angela and the other nurses. When we were searching for placement after the stroke, your facility helped complete paperwork, get everything filed and get mom settled into her new routine. We couldn’t have asked for a better second home!!!!

I have a dog and I wouldn't let her stay here. My mom has been there for 2 days. There were issues from the start but to top things off she is putting her call light on to much🤔🤔, because they don't make rounds until every 2 hrs, so I guess if a patient dies at 7:00 & they don't see him/her until 9:00 while I guess they would lie and say they just left the room. My point is if you have a patient that's on some type of diuretic medication they will go every 5-15 minutes it depends on how much fluid each person has. Anyway I can go on & on . Bypass this killer care. I'm working on getting my mom out.

Both of my parents ended here for different reasons. They had different needs, and their needs were met!!! My mother couldn't walk or even sit up so she came here to do the skilled nursing. Slowly but surely sure now walking with a cane. She only use a cane with we walk far. The staff was amazing. The new administrator Luke Nguyen was amazing. He listens and care!!!! You know he loves what he is doing because it shows. I can't praise this staff enough because it made us felt so much better especially during covid. Keep up the great work!!!! Oh also shout out to the ADON Lyonel. Lyonel is amazing. He goes above and beyond. Thank you

Don't be deceived by the pictures,this place is one of the worst in Baton Rouge. This place is very unsanitary, the smell is the most unpleasant and the rooms (which are not pictured) are just as disgusting. The hall ways are too narrow and in constant traffic jams with residents in wheelchairs trying to get around staff and carts occupying the same space. The most appealing area in this facility is the office area. If you love your loved one do everything in your power to find a better facility than this one, my personal opinion is it should be closed down.
