The Audiology Center

Only after I had earmolds made and hearing aids delivered I was given a form to sign stating I would be responsible for the cost of the molds and restocking fee of the hearing aids if they did not work out. So at that point I had to pay $500. If I had known prior to the order I would have declined. I also wasn't informed of the cost of the hearing aids ($6500) until they came in. Prior experiences with the audiology center were positive.

I heard about Audiology Center on KMOX Radio, the person was Charlie Brennan who convinced me to call and get a hearing test. Damn. As I suspected. But the Doctor outfitted me with a set of Starkey devices (made in America) that are not sold in retail attires - and ten years later, I’ve had tune ups and upgrades and still very happy with the service and my hearing.

I have the pleasure of knowing Dr. Basler for many years. As a fellow Doctor of Audiology, I have been to many conferences with her and have recently discussed with her in length our practice visions. You pay for the hearing aids and all the checkups are free. Only the hearing tests are charged to insurance. They do a great job of helping you hear.
