I recently had a total knee replacement. Having been a patient at the Alternative Clinic since they opened in Asheville, I thought that preparing my body, mind and spirit BEFORE the procedure might make the experience less painful and lead to a quicker recovery. So I consulted with Andrew several months before the scheduled operation. It was suggested that I start taking some nutritional supplements and I scheduled several massage and acupuncture treatments to prepare my body for repair and regeneration as well as acceptance of the artificial knee. I also scheduled several acupuncture appointment after the November 4 operation. I'm in day 19 post-op and feeling better every day. I'm doing my PT diligently, using self massage and practicing Qigong daily. Today I will be going back to G

I have nothing but positive things to say about everyone who works here! It's so nice to have access to a healthcare spot where the providers are skilled at listening and at providing treatment that sometimes feels miraculous. For me, this was an issue with my knee... I had no idea acupuncture could have such a profound impact on the health of my knee. In my case, a small handful of visits here literally solved my issue.
