The Allergy & Asthma Center, L.L.C.

My visits felt very impersonal here with the exception of my interaction with two people, which is why I gave this place 2 stars ,if not for those two ppl, I would have given it a 1. Those two people were Ms. Doris at the front desk (I believe that was her name) and a tech or nurse in the back with dark skin and black glasses. I appreciate them. I did not like the NP Julia Clark and my hopes were high when I met Dr. Cohen, but it fell flat a little. They were not able to help me and that's fine but they did not really treat me like they cared. I would avoid if possible. 10/30/25: I wanted to reply to the center’s comment below. I just had my very 1st appt with this office. I would love to have given a 10-star review, but only 5-star was offered. It's extremely rare that I go into an establishment & find that every single person was fabulous! The front desk staff was phenomenal, so welcoming, so kind & so friendly. (I really wanted to ask them if I could come & work there) The Doctor's assistant was wonderful, & the Doctor was AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! The doctor took her time with me & explained everything in total detail. The entire office visit was wonderful. Thank you very much

The people that I have encountered in person are awesome and they make me want to continue being apart of this allergy center. The billing department, not so much. The lady I spoke to was argumentative and tried telling me the process has not changed when I know for a fact it has. If I am paying money for one thing, why are you suddenly applying any portion of that to anything else. I have always paid for shots and my abstract separately and no portion of either was ever applied to the other. Also, I have never been sent to collections after 2 weeks when I just paid my balance for shots online or the next time I come in. But according to her that has always been the process. I am leaving a review for Linda, Tanisha, and Dr Crocker. They have always been top-notch professionals and healthcare providers! I have been coming to this office since 2013 for my son's asthma and now receive my own allergy shots here. Dr Crocker is A+. I never feel rushed or dismissed. Tanisha and Linda, who give out the allergy injections, have always been so kind and thorough. I have had some staff interactions in the past that made me question if I want to stay here, but the service these three ladies give keep me coming back. Thank you, and keep up the great work. You make it worth continuing on. Summary: 5+Stars for Tanisha, Linda, and Dr. Crocker (-1) Stars for the office manager who has said and done some questionable things in the past billing wise.

If you rely on health insurance, do not go here, and if you have to go here, then make sure you do not see anyone that is not explicitly approved by your insurance. I confirmed with their staff that someone in their office messed up filing with my insurance, but despite being told multiple times that it would be corrected, that message either never made it to billing or was ignored. When I tried to reach back out and had a ticket opened with their billing, I discovered that their billing is handled by a third party, and they refused to assist me as they had already sent my bill to collections. I'm now in the process of appealing with the collections agency, and the third party billing service is giving factually incorrect information to the collections agency to fight the appeal.
