Thai Royal Massage

We have had a few good massages here with my daughter, especially Anna and Kelly are wonderful (5 stars to them)... however, in December I booked a massage before we left for the holidays and I was assigned a male masseuse. He used many rough movement techniques. More aggressive stretching than a massage! At the end of the session, I could not even stand up. My spine locked up and I was in tremendous pain. I barely walked out the facility and my daughter drove me home. I was in pain for a week straight, barely getting out of bed in the mornings. Contacted them 3x via email, no response and no interest in remedying the situation!

I gave my daughter in law a gift certificate for this place . If I could leave a negative 1000 review I would. She came home absolutely distraught . Called my son and explained the horrific assault she experienced . Mind you she has had many massages in her life so this was not a new experience . She was immediately told by Jason to take her clothes off. He then proceeded to give her a massage . He put his hands places he should not have and she felt extremely uncomfortable but was in such shock she said she couldn’t move , was tense , fist clenched and could barely breath . Yes hindsight is 20/20 but let’s just say it was enough for her to file a police report and send a letter to the Az State Board of Massage Therapists. He should be fired immediately ! Terrible experience from start to finish. The front desk lady had an awful attitude right away, and honestly we should have left at that point. It set the tone for the entire visit. The massage itself was just as bad. They started by rubbing a cheap, harsh cleaning-supply–smelling lotion all over my face, arms, and legs, which was extremely unpleasant. The actual “Thai massage” that followed felt rushed and half-hearted at best. I’ve had many massages over the years, and this was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. To make matters worse, this location is no longer affiliated with the Thai Royal Massage in North Scottsdale, so don’t assume you’re getting the same quality or experience. I definitely wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money here.

I’ve been coming here for years, and they’ve had their ups and downs with customer service. I wanted to leave a 5-star review today because their new-hire for front desk, Leah, is outstanding. Also, best massage I’ve had here yet (thanks to Anna). I’ll be coming here more often now.

This was the best massage I have ever had! I chose the one-hour combination massage. When I was lying on the massage couch, my masseuse first gave me a head massage, which included my scalp, face and ears. She gently massaged my cheeks and ears and then asked me how was the pressure? I thought it was very considerate! Then she massaged my shoulders and neck, which I asked for more pressure and more focus. When I walked in, the front desk asked me which parts I wanted to focus on and then told the masseuse. My masseuse also asked me if I felt comfortable during the massage. After that, I had a full body massage. I felt very relaxed and the masseur was very professional. Kelly, my masseur, asked me if I wanted to extend the time.
