TGH Urgent Care powered by Fast Track (Babcock Ranch)

I pre-registered for an appointment for 10:30 AM on the same day. I arrived at 10:28 and was talking to the receptionist within minutes. Mere minutes after that I was called in for my appt. Everyone that I interacted with was very professional, and for the most part personable. The front desk girl was efficient, if not overly friendly. That's OK. I was not there to win friends. Within minutes of being swabbed for Covid/Flu, I was diagnosed with Covid. The PA was very detailed and concise as to my treatments and answered all of my questions satisfactorily. I was back in my car at 11:22. Other than being diagnosed with Covid, an all- around good experience.

I had a very good experience at TGH Urgent care yesterday. I registered online and set up a My Chart account. I was able to link my health records from my "up north" doctors which is great for continuity of care. Upon arrival I was greeted professionally, needing only to provide my ID and medical cards to be scanned. There were a few patients in the waiting room already, so I had a little wait, but it's urgent care - expect a wait. Once taken back to triage the appointment went quickly. Marie Watson, APRN addressed my concerns and gave me ample opportunity to ask questions. I am so happy to see Tampa General here at Babcock. I have scheduled a follow up appointment with the mobile unit and will transition to their new facility once it has opened. Thank you.

I had a very good experience at this Urgent Care. The facility is new and clean. The check-in process was easy and mostly, the care I was given was exceptional. Hailey S. took a great deal of time to help me get to the bottom of my issue. She was able to narrow down the source of my problem and suggest future testing and next steps. She was kind and compassionate and answered all of my questions. I would absolutely use this facility again.

The staff is excellent. Smooth from walk in to finish. Only complaint you can't call the local clinic directly if you need help after you leave. You can only call Tampa who takes a message and forwards to the clinic. It was hours before I heard back and got a prescription corrected. By then the local pharmacy was closed. Need to wait until next morning to get medication.

Staff was great, provider(Marie) has great bedside manner, was scene and got home in a reasonable time. One star because they make you(Required to be seen)put a credit card on file and sign a form that they can bill you for whatever the insurance doesn’t pay for. During the whole visit no pricing was discussed prior to doing anything so I guess I’ll get a surprise bill at some point. Previously I worked in Healthcare for 10yrs and this was not a normal practice.
