Dr. Leahy is a wonderful doctor! He is not a doctor that jumps straight to surgery. He is conservative in his treatments as much as he can be, has a great bedside manner, down to earth and answers my questions and concerns. He also asks if his suggestion sounds like a good plan and if I want to go that route. I've been going to him for about 12 years. My son was seen by Dr. Smith and he had a good bed side manner too. He related to my sons interests. I have never had an issue booking an appointment. The only issue I have is sometimes the wait is too long. I understand that sometimes things come up, like a surgery in the morning may take longer than expected so the Dr. is "running behind", or a patient may have needed a longer visit than scheduled for, but usually the staff at the front de

I had surgery on my right clavicle on 10/30/25. I had a plate inserted with two screws to create a union between the fracture. I felt a shift in my shoulder on 01/01/26. It was swollen up bad but I thought I had irritated it and continued on. I had a follow appointment on 01/07/2026 with the hope to start PT. My shoulder was x-rayed which showed the fixation had failed and the bone was fractured again. Upon telling me this the surgeon stated “that is on me I should have double plated it’. I now require revision surgery. The bone is moving, the screws on the plate are backing out the bone and the union screws are hanging loose. I found a specialist who will do the revision work. I arrived early enough for my appointment to fill out the new patient paperwork in time and was called back not long after. X-rays only took a couple of minutes, and then I was taken to an exam room and told that the doctor would be in shortly. An hour later (thankfully I had some work to do) the doctor still had not come in. So I went to the nurses station to let them know nobody had come in and that I would like a refund. There were no apologies. No offers to find out what was going on. Nothing. I went to the front desk and told them I would like to have my co-pay refunded since I was waiting for an hour with no update. They just said okay and processed a refund. No apologies. My apt is never as scheduled. Expect to sit there at least an hour after your scheduled time. But you better be on time. Rediculous.
