Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth

If you get moved to this part of the hospital leave if you can. It’s clear when you get taken to this part of the hospital they don’t plan to give you proper care. They check on you once after you’re moved over from another Harris building. It’s as if they send you here so they can keep you longer to “observe you” and bill your insurance for additional days. This is what we were given for bedding.

The Jones Tower was very nice, the labor and delivery department was fantastic, the room was very spacious. The birthing plan was followed and the postpartum department was great as well.

Absolutely loved my experience in the labor and delivery floor. Went in because I thought my water broke and nurse Tiffany in on emergency was so nice and informative on everything! Once they confirmed my water did break she made the process so smooth. My nurses in l&d Brooke and Carlin were also amazing in helping me deal with an unmedicated birth they also did not judge when I decided to get the epidural, they were very supportive. My postpartum nurses were the most helpful ones I have had so far! Nurses Theresa, Emily, Zadee, and Kayleigh were delightful they never once complained about us asking so many questions or needing anything. They made sure I always had water, pain relief, and made sure I felt good and ate. I really do love Texas health Fort Worth both of my pregnancies at this

Let me start out saying Me and my husband William Perkins were very thankful the amazing above and beyond care we received from the 3rd floor ICU. We wanna say thank you to his nurses Bria Tammy and Evan and other nurses we can’t remember everyone names. The techs and students who took care of him. The wonderful OT and PT forgot your names but you know who you are.You have an amazing team and we appreciate you. I work in the nursing field and it’s been a while since I’ve seen some amazing care. Again my family thanks each and everyone of you. Because of you he will do very well.

I am a person who suffers really bad with gastrointestinal problems. So I’m admitted to this hospital more often than not. I’ve had some of the worst care one could imagine which makes me say the hell with it and stick it out at home. However, my most recent stay from January 6th to this past Friday out weighed every single bad experience that I have EVER had at this hospital. Let me introduce floor 8 Harris tower!! I have never ever had a group of nurses treat me with the level of respect, love, care, compassion, understanding, and affection as the nurses did on this unit. There was a hospitalist who was being very dismissive and spoke to me very very poorly. To the point I had tears in my eyes.
