Texas County Memorial Hospital

My son had recently went to this hospital a day due to him being sick, rolla had diagnosed him with covid and he was getting worse so we took him in and TCMH took 1 x-ray and told us he has stridor and they sent us home. Same day we pick up his medicine TCMH prescribed him flonase. He proceeded to get worse and the next day we took him back and TCMH admitted him immediately and proceeded to tell us we should have brought him in sooner. Then the Dr refused to give him his constipation medicine then did 1 single x-ray then immediately called a lifeflight for his bowel movement to stl saying his bowels aren't working right (DUE TO NOT GETTING HIS MEDICINE) when he got to STL they took 1 look at him and pressed on his stomach and was absolutely not worried about it. This hospital will exploit

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because we loved Dr. Grant. Otherwise my entire birthing experience was awful the nurses were rude, unprofessional, and a few of them didn’t really seem to know what they were doing at all.

This place and it's nurses are a joke! My dad was brought in with an ambulance and evaluated (he was dizzy and couldn't see - had been having fainting spells the last few days falling over with bad ear infection and has had several strokes as well as a heart attack within the last year as). They said he didn't need to stay and we're going to have him wait out in the waiting room all night long over 12 hours in a chair not even able to lay down. Refused to give him a room even though they had plenty of space available. SHAME ON THESE NURSES AND DOCTORS!!!! They are not there to help anyone no wonder this hospital is a 2 star hospital what a joke! Update* - it was a heart attack my dad was having IN THE WAITING ROOM of the hospital and they refused to see him. Readings the following day in

I 100% urge you to not go to this hospital or anything with this hospital if you get the slightest bill that could be something as 20 bucks they will sue you over and not tell you until you find out with court papers in your hands… and they are terrible at showing compassion when you are at these places. When I had a miscarriage there was no compassion so my recommendation it just got to omc or Phelps

We have recently used the TCMH facilities while our mother was passing from earth to heaven. The doctor and nurses were so very respectful and were kindness itself. The cleaning staff did their jobs cheerfully , faithfully and well!!! The staff made sure we had coffee, tea and water at all times. They allowed us all to spend as much time as we chose, in mom's last days on this earth, to be close to, and around her. They welcomed our questions and answered them patiently and clearly.
