I recently called to schedule an appointment for my granddaughter and was told I must provide legal documentation proving guardianship in order to take her to her doctor's visit. As her grandmother, who is actively involved in her care, I found this requirement frustrating and excessive. I understand that policies exist for legal protection, the rigid enforcement and lack of flexibility were extremely frustrating. many grandparents routinely care for and transport their grandchildren to appointments. Requiring court-level documentation without offering practical alternatives creates barriers to care rather than supporting families. A few months ago I left a 1 star review but I would like to update my review as there was a mistake with the billing and it was cause for concern however once I reached the appropriate people they fixed the issue for me completely. Mistakes happen but it takes good people to be able to deal with a very upset and overwhelmed mom and handle me kindly and to my total satisfaction. Thankful to the manager and front office staff at Texas Children’s in Missouri City.

We were seen by the new doctor in this location, Dr. Shenoy. Our best pediatrician so far, listen to concerns. Did not pressure us on stopping breastfeeding or push us to sleep train. Encouraged us to do what works for us. Focused on our daughters health rather than policing us on our parenting style. Scheduling also was easy and the nurses are pleasant.

Just started going to this office. So far we love it. Both doctors are very nice, personable and try to spend as much time with patients as possible. All other staff is nice and courteous. The only practical issue is that there is no lab in the office so for blood draws kiddos have to go to other location. Somehow we managed to come at the time when they are not too busy and we were seen almost immediately. So far, I would recommend this place.

My daughter is 5 and she's been going to see Dr. Gmoser since she was born. He's never rushed us and has always answered all our questions. He never over prescribes medication and has always been cautious of the over-use of antibiotics. My daughter isn't afraid to go to the doctor and loves all her visits with him. We've also always been able to schedule same-day sick appointments with him without any problems. He's even called us back himself when we leave messages on the answering service for appointments. The facility is clean, modern, and his staff are always friendly. We generally just go to the annual visits.. nothing major requiring extra caution or a specialist. So, I don't know his abilities in handling those situations.
